CIC Staff Receive Warm Reception By UNL

A CIC delegation enjoyed a warm welcome from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Monday as it visited the campus for the first time.

UNL will become a member of the CIC on July 1, 2011, the same date it becomes a member of the Big Ten Conference.

UNL featured the visit on the front of its website and also on its Facebook page. The Omaha World-Journal also covered the visit, quoting CIC Director Barbara McFadden Allen: "This is basically a fact-finding mission," said Allen. "We want to walk away with a good understanding about what the aspirations are at UNL and how we can help the university move forward."
