Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP): The Big Ten Academic Alliance’s enduring commitment to student diversity and equal access to higher education manifests itself in SROP. Big Ten Academic Alliance Shared Programs Abroad (Big Ten Academic Alliance SPA):  As the forces of globalization increase and intensify, the challenge to American colleges and universities is clear: We must prepare students to function as world citizens and world leaders. Shared Courses: Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions have a long tradition of sharing faculty expertise by making specialized courses available to students from member universities. Three programs increase student access to courses including the newest, CourseShare, that opens course access through the use of distance technology. More about Shared Courses

Reciprocal Library Borrowing:  Big Ten Academic Alliance university libraries have agreements in place that allow undergraduate and graduate students to borrowing privileges at any Big Ten Academic Alliance member library either in person or through a request for delivery.
